Agelytics checks faces and IDs to help businesses with age checks. We built it to keep as little as possible: images are used for the check and then thrown away.

01Face and ID images

Camera shots and uploaded photos are sent to our AI provider only to produce the result you see. We do not save these images to our database or storage, and we ask our provider not to keep them.

Face comparison between an ID photo and a live scan runs on your own device, in the browser. Those images never leave your device for that step.

Face Lab deletes photos from the screen automatically after 60 seconds, or straight away when you tap Delete now.

02What we do store

Accounts: your email address and sign-in details (or the Google / Apple account you sign in with).

Verification logs: for signed-in users, each check's time, type, age rule, estimated age, result and a short note. No photos. Visitors' logs stay in their own browser.

Face Lab history: numbers only (estimated age, scores), for signed-in users who save a scan.

Free-try tracking: a random device code and a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your network address, so the free try can't be reused endlessly. We can't turn the hash back into your address.

Feedback: whatever you send through the feedback form, plus your email if you choose to give it.

03How we use it

Only to run the service: sign you in, show your history, enforce free-try limits, process payments and answer feedback. We don't sell personal data and we don't use your images to train AI models.

04Who else handles data

Our hosting and database provider, our AI provider (to analyse images), our payment processor (for paid plans — it handles card details; we never see them), and Google or Apple if you use them to sign in.

05Keeping and deleting

Logs and history stay until you clear them — the Clear button on the Logs page removes them from your account on every device. To delete your whole account, contact us through the feedback page and we'll remove it.

06Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or US state laws) you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how it's used. Ask through the feedback page and we'll respond within 30 days.

07Businesses using Agelytics

If you run checks on customers, you are responsible for telling them a face or ID check is happening and for getting any consent your local law requires, especially for biometric data (for example Illinois BIPA or the EU GDPR).

08Children

Accounts are for adults running a business. Agelytics may scan people who turn out to be under age — that's the point of an age check — but we don't keep their images.
